UN videoconference

The world got a lot smaller for some members of the CHC community last week thanks to an interactive videoconference presented in the East Parlor on December 3. 

Student Life Symposium

After months of planning, Chestnut Hill College hosted its first annual Student Life Symposium at Sugarloaf in October with the theme of Collaborative Conversations.

Senior Seminar. Two words that bring to mind months of research and preparation, often mixed with anxiety and exhaustion. Yet, they also allow students the chance to explore new concepts and follow their passions.

PAGES conference

Where can more than 130 sixth-grade girls learn about science and have fun at the same time? Chestnut Hill College is where, when they take part in the bi-annual PAGES (Philadelphia Area Girls Enjoying Science) mini-conference.

Cyber conference

For the first time, Chestnut Hill College, in conjunction with the Delaware Valley High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), hosted a professional networking event and conference on cyber forensics and security.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

The CHC student body gathered to decorate the College and kick off a weekend of Christmas traditions on Thursday night, December 4.

Leeann Burke ’16, a business administration and management major, understands the importance of an internship — not only for fellow business administration students, but for all majors.

Paying CHC a Visit
Marge Scheitrum ’73 visited the College in early November. She lives in California, where she manages clinical trials for new drugs, and was in the area visiting family.

Passionate and productive, CHC’s first-ever sprint football team put everything it had into a successful season.

Chestnut Hill College’s Institute for Forgiveness and Reconciliation hosted Mary Jo Leddy, an author, theologian, peace activist and Director of Romero House for Refugees in Toronto to deliver the lecture “Seeing the Dear Neighbor in Faces Not Like Ours.” The Chestnut Hill Local has the story.

Did you know Chestnut Hill College just celebrated its 86th annual Christmas Decorating Night?
Following the tradition founded in 1928, Chestnut Hill College students spend an entire night decorating the campus for Christmas.
