It's a Wonderful Life poster

Events

Mask & Foil Reception – Friday, November 20 – 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Join us for a complimentary reception in the music corridor, first floor, Saint Joseph Hall, prior to the opening night production of “It’s A Wonderful Life.” The show starts at 8 p.m.

RSVP to alumni@chc.edu or call 215-248-7016. Show tickets can be purchased at the door; $8 for adults and $5 for CHC students and kids 10 and under.

Other performances of the play are scheduled for Saturday, November 21, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday, November 22, at 2 p.m. (See the story in News & Notes for more information.)

Holiday Cheer - Friday, December 4 9 to 11 p.m. Must be 21 to attend.

After enjoying Carol Night festivities, stop by the Commonwealth Chateau at Sugarloaf for an adults-only happy hour. Tickets are $10 and refreshments include appetizers, beer, wine and our signature cocktail, the Griffin-tini. The Chateau will be decorated in its holiday finest and will offer great photo opportunities for you and your classmates. Register online at https://www.chcgriffinsonline.com/cheer2015.

Breakfast with Santa - Sunday, December 13 — 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Come spend Sunday on our beautifully decorated campus with the big man himself, Santa Claus! Before his Christmas Eve duties, Santa will stop by and spend some time at CHC. Join us for a buffet breakfast, photos with Santa, and coloring and story time activities for the kids. We’ll also be accepting new and unwrapped toys for Campus Ministry to distribute to needy kids in our area. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Infants are free.

Eleanore Dolan Egan ’28 Award for Outstanding Service to Chestnut Hill College

This annual award is presented to an alumna or alumnus for her or his service to the College through the Alumni Association. To nominate a deserving alum, visit http://www.chc.edu/forms/nomination-eleanore-dolan-egan. Deadline for submissions is December 11, 2015.

The Distinguished Achievement Award

This annual award identifies graduates of the College who have a history of accomplishment in their business or profession or in civic, philanthropic or other volunteer activities. The Alumni Association Board of Directors

Founded in 1929, the Alumni Association Board of Directors promotes the interests of CHC, helps recruit the next generation of Griffins and helps support the College financially. We are currently accepting nominations for the next board election. Alumni from all three schools, the School of Undergraduate Studies (SUS), the School of Continuing & Professional Studies (SCPS) and the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) are eligible for board positions.
