On October 21, the East Parlor filled with students, faculty and staff who wanted to learn more about the topic of Precision Medicine in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The lecture was part of the acclaimed Biomedical Lecture Series presented twice annually by the Biology Department.

Tomas Greer '16 faces an opponent

Following a first-place finish at the U.S. National Karate Federation (USA-NKF) National Championships and USA Team Trials in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Tomas Greer ’16 advanced to the World Karate Federation (WTK) Pan American Championships in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where he earned the bronze medal.

Join us for a complimentary reception in the music corridor, first floor, Saint Joseph Hall, prior to the opening night production of “It’s A Wonderful Life.” The show starts at 8 p.m.

When Mike Melnychenko '14 heard his name called by the Buffalo Bandits in the sixth round of the 2014 National Lacrosse League (NLL) draft, he made Chestnut Hill College history, becoming the first Griffin to be drafted by a professional sports league.

Led by the first-place finish of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Runner of the Year, Giancarlo Martines ’18, and a top-10 finish by all-conference runner Eric Barton ’17, the men’s cross country team accomplished their best season yet, placing fifth at the CACC Championship meet October 25.

Harry Potter made lots of news last month.
